The quickest ending, and the one that leaves Adrian's secret untouched.

How to get Ending 1

There are two ways to reach it.

Route A: refuse the pill (shortest)

1. Play Day 1 as normal. After the first night's visitor appears, refuse the pill ("shake your head").
2. Day 2 is quiet: you take apart another doll, Adrian gets a work call and has to step out, and you cannot move your legs, so Lover Time follows when he returns.
3. Take or fake Adrian's evening medicine. Either way the story continues to Day 3.
4. Adrian comes home, you chat, and the game ends on Ending 1.

Route B: take the pill, then do not use the scalpel

1. Take the pill on night one and follow the investigation route.
2. Get Ian's scalpel on the second night.
3. On Day 3, at the choice "Will you take care of Adrian now?", choose Don't.

What the ending shows

A local newspaper headline praises Dr. Adrian Winchester, Head of Diagnostic Pathology at Valleybrook Hospital, with an award for innovation in medical diagnostics. The article notes that the 30-year-old physician is still a bachelor and declines to talk about his personal life. The ending title card reads ENDING 01: My boyfriend is the best.
