Helping Your Boyfriend Ending 4: Moving Forward
The most hopeful ending, and the hardest to reach.
Spoiler warning. This page describes how Ending 4 plays out.
Requirements
Ending 4 uses the same route as Ending 3, with one difference: Ian's affection must be 40 or higher when you finish the phone call and leave the house.
- Take the pill and be kind to Ian from the second night onward.
- Reach affection above 14 so his free-time scene unlocks, and spend it well.
- Use the scalpel, find the key (Adrian at -3 or lower), dial 015767438 and give Oliver 742 Silverwood Creek Lane, Silverwood Springs, CA 95401.
How to raise Ian's affection
- Answer him with trust and warmth on the second night instead of fear and insults.
- Accept his gift and take his side in the free-time scene.
- In the flower-shop scene, be friendly and let him be himself.
Choices that mock him, recoil from him or refuse his help cost points, and a few of them cost a lot. Save before the free-time scene so you can try again.
What the ending shows
Months later you are in the hospital and Oliver is looking after you. Adrian is still missing. Ian has been sent to a psychiatric hospital nearby, where doctors sometimes let him use a mobile phone. The two of you call each other from time to time, and he tells you stories. Maybe one day he will open his flower shop. The title card reads ENDING 04: Moving Forward.
