Helping Your Boyfriend Minigames Guide

Every minigame, what it asks of you and how to beat it.

Doll dismantling

Adrian's "job" for you. A doll sits on a table with six storage slots: eyes, ears, arms, legs, cotton and a mystery slot. You have three tools: scissors, a scalpel and a hand.

  1. Pick a tool. Hovering over a stitched seam it can cut makes the seam glow.
  2. Cut the seams. Scissors cut the outer seams, and the scalpel opens the belly to reveal the cotton. The wrong tool just makes the seam shake.
  3. Switch to the hand and drag loose pieces into the matching slot. Pieces only come loose once the seam holding them is cut.
  4. When every slot is full the confirm button lights up. Press it to finish.

Investigation Time

Point-and-click scenes. Hover over doors, boxes and photos to see what lights up, then click. Some objects are only clues. Others, such as the package in Adrian's room, matter for the ending. See the walkthrough.

Timed decisions and the 30-second scene

When Adrian's car pulls up on Day 2, a timer starts: you have 30 seconds to get back to your room. Follow the arrow icons at the edges of the screen. Running out of time shows a "Time's Up" game over.

Phone dialing

In the secret room you dial a number from memory with two digits pre-filled. The number is on the phone number and address page.

The struggle (timed prompts)

The fight on Day 3 chains three kinds of prompt: arrow prompts (press the shown arrow in time), mashing (press repeatedly to fill a meter) and slides (move left or right through the highlighted lane). Fail one and you get a game over.

Yes. Pick Easy at the start, or change Difficulty in Settings. It lengthens the time you get on the timed prompts.
